One Course Full Credit — A Single High School Course Through an Accredited School
$315 — One-time payment for a single full-credit course through Alta Independent, a Cognia-accredited online high school.
One Course Full Credit is for students who need a single course — summer school, catching up on a missed credit, improving a grade, or earning one class at a time toward graduation. No subscription, no long-term commitment, just one course with full Alta support.
What’s included:
- One full-credit course of your choice from Alta’s catalog
- 24/7 Access to Coursework
- 24/7 Access to Student Portal
- 24/7 Access to Parent Portal
- Live Chat Support 8 AM–4 PM MT, M-F
- Weekly Progress Report
- Monitor Messages Included
- Weekly Report for Parents
- Course completion documented on an official Alta transcript
- No enrollment fee
How it works:
You enroll, pay once, and pick your course. You have 6 months to complete the course at your own pace. When you finish, your completion is documented on an official Alta transcript you can send to your home school, district, or another institution.
Working toward an Alta diploma one course at a time?
One Course Full Credit is also a good starting point for students who want to earn an Alta diploma but aren’t yet sure how quickly they can complete coursework. Start with one course, see how the pace fits your life, then decide what comes next. If you find you can work through courses quickly — many students complete a full-credit course in under 8 weeks — Core Path ($225/month) becomes significantly more economical. At the monthly rate, 2–3 completed courses per month costs less per credit than enrolling one at a time. Many students start here and move to Core Path once they see their own pace.
Who it’s for:
One Course Full Credit is ideal for homeschool students who need a credit from an accredited school, public or private school students catching up over summer, students repeating a course to improve a grade, or anyone who needs a high school credit on an official transcript.
Accreditation: Alta Independent is accredited by the Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC) through Cognia. Credits earned at Alta are issued on official Alta transcripts and are recognized by other accredited schools, colleges, and universities.
Looking for more? If you think you’ll need multiple courses or ongoing support, consider Core Path ($225/month), which gives you up to 6 courses at one time plus parent reporting and newsletter — a better value if you’re planning to take more than one course.
